| LIES! IT'S ALL LIES! *cough cough cough sniff* :p | thecruelandunusual |
| Newsflash Einstein: Since when is there some sort of requirement that a BUSINESS has a purpose other than producing income by giving people WHAT THEY WANT? I can't stand preachy self-righteous holier-than thou-loudmouths who act like capitalism is some sort of curse - last time I checked there weren't a lot of boat people setting sail from Florida to Cuba, you Michael Moore wannabe.
And let me guess, you don't see the hypocrisy in ratm getting rich by dissing capitalism, right?
Pathetic. | Ivorygate |
| @TheCanOlly same
'cept instead of gasping, i paused the video and had to say "WHAT?!" very loudly several times before i got it. | moonlitedancer8 |
| You are right! But you forgot to mention it is our money and it is powerful! If people wanted to influence corporate policy they could-it would take a lot of people buying or not buying but it could work! | petmel19 |
| I suggest that anyone who enjoyed this video read the book "Songlines" by Bruce Chatwin. It's a very interesting take on the reasons for hypocrisy, rules, morals, and such, but follows a different path than formal reasoning, because it primarily follows one pattern (language/journeys) and explains some possibilities for the cause of these hypocrisies. | FarazR2 |
| I thought rage split up. | FATMIKED5183 |
| GASP!
It should be noted I actually gasped quite dramatically. I can't believe National Geographic is owned by the same people who create Fox freaking News. I feel like someone told me Santa didn't exist. It is alright, you've educated me. | TheCanOlly |
| Actually... the campaign was started by someone who was nothing to do with the band RAtM or the label and the rebellion was against manufactured music. The band didn't get involved until after and then performed a free gig to say thanks to the fans. I bought it and I don't care if the same conglomerate got my cash; a good classic record got to number one and a piece of crap didn't. | Fleafa |
| fucK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!
| swortfish666 |
| i think it's fantastic that someone other than me finally started speaking out against the bold-faced facades that are how a company pretends to care... it irks me that a large percentile of the population either doesn't care or actually believes the facades, as well... | ninjaassassin27 |
| So what's your point ? That's a very known fact about corporations and brands and no one tries to hide it. Who cares what is on the top. Enjoy your cartoon or Nuts whatever you like. You'r like a little child complaining about stuff you don't understand.
P.S. Almost all in this world is about money... and there is no Santa Claus Oo | Gadziferoth |
| Hot Topic, w00t. | grossmegreen1 |
| dude... you'r the best ever! :D
I came here, because I like Hypocrisy's music and I liked the title, but I were a bit surprised to see this :D
-going to watch more of ur vids now :P | mikakatsoo |
| Every single time I watch one of these videos I can't help but think that my glasses look exactly like yours.. it's sort of odd and awesome at the same time :D
also hypocrisy is a never ending cycle.. that really should end but probably never will because mankind in general is a greedy race.. | embirlily |

| @7rancisco1 But they belong to Google, and they're all like 'don't be evil'. So it's ok. | Othelie |
| I like how he said Unilever is pimpin' 12 different ice cream companies | KEBISONY |
| most people who bought the song were just tired of having the christmas number one chosen months before christmas...the xmas no 1 has always been a big deal in britain and it used to be exciting to see who would get the honor..then the x factor came along and for the past 3 years the song had been chosen months before, this just put some suspense back into to it....wasnt about money. | garylssk |
| Sony is their LABEL. They donated the money received from the proceeds towards a free concert for the public. It wasn't about corporate benefit necessarily, but about choice. The right to take back the music to the public where it belongs, INSTEAD of having music void of inspiration or substance, that is representative of the "corporation". | angelofyourobsession |
| lol @ your pronunciation of McElderry.
Sorry, but just lol. | RawrFunkyLlama8 |
| Same thing with corporations like ConAgra. They own brands like Hunt's, Healthy Choice, Armour, Swiss Miss, Country Pride, Reddi-Wip, and tons more. | XxharcoreamayaxX |
